Bangladesh tower death toll soars
Description
The death toll from the fire that destroyed a Bangladesh skyscraper rose to 25 on Friday (March 29).
The death toll includes some who jumped to their deaths at the tower in Dhaka.
Video filmed on Thursday shows trapped office workers in the 22-storey FR Tower gesturing to firefighters on cranes through broken windows. The firefighters douse the building in water. Smoke can still be seen rising in the video.
On a lower level, flames are clearly visible and a crowd of people have gathered to watch the rescue efforts.
The death toll from Thursday afternoon's fire had originally been put at 19.
