Ball Bearing Skill Toy

A very simple little skill toy, but not so simple to do!

Place a ball bearing inside the plastic ring, and move the ring so that the ball bearing is spinning around the inside track. Then, if the ball bearing is rotating quickly enough, you can turn the ring so that it is horizontal. There are various other tracks you can perform as well.

However you can then slot two rings together, and attempt the same trick, now with two rings and two ball bearings. This is quite difficult, and Tim only manages to achieve this occasionally. Luckily it happened while the camera was running!

However at a trade fair a few years ago, Tim saw someone demonstrating this using the maximum of 4 rings and 4 ball bearings. Seriously tricky!
