Balikatan 2014 kicks off

BRP Dagupan City (LC551) participates in the 2014 Balikatan (shoulder-to-shoulder) exercises between the Philippnes and the US that kicked off at the Naval Education and Training Command in Zambales Friday, May 9, 2014. The military drills that also include mock battles on land were launched amid brewing tension between the Philippines and China arising from a dispute over the West Philippine Sea.
