This mum has stunned the internet after admitting she can’t stop sprinkling baby powder over her meals and eating the item as a snack.
Jada Blount from North Carolina, USA, has racked up millions of views on TikTok by filming herself chomping down on everything from shaved ice to fresh fruit, all coated in the chalky powder usually found in nurseries, not kitchens.
Pregnant with her fifth child, the mum told how her baby powder cravings started as soon as she got pregnant.
The clips have caused a frenzy online, with many viewers branding the bizarre snack 'dangerous' and questioning whether the craving could harm her unborn baby.
But Jada continued to post videos, trying the powder in new forms, including sucking it up through a straw.
On her TikTok page, she said: “This combo is so good!
“You all need to try this.
"Last time I tried it with ice cubes, now we’re trying crushed ice.
"It’s so good.”
Dozens of mums confessed they’d also craved strange substances during pregnancy.
One wrote: “When I was pregnant that was my favourite … baby powder and carrying around fabric sheets in my purse to smell.”
Another warned bluntly: “That can’t be good for the baby.”
