Babri demolition case: SC pulls up CBI.

The Supreme Court on Thursday (Feb 7) questioned the CBI for the delay in filing an appeal against the Allahabad High Court verdict on dropping conspiracy charges against senior BJP leader L K Advani and others in Babri demolition case. The court turned down the CBI's plea to file a fresh affidavit in the case. The apex Court also pulled up CBI for terming Babri Masjid demolition as a national crime. "You can't say it is a national crime till we or trial court decides this way or the other," it said.
