Babette Cretskens - Time

It’s almost the end of another school day
The time is going slow
Still 30 minutes to go
And then I can go home
I’m looking forward to end this school day
And play some more on my guitar when I’m home
But again I look on the clock and there are 25 minutes to go
Why can’t we speed up and slow down the time
And do only the things we like
Everybody is speaking harder in the class
It’s difficult to think clear right now
The one thing that still gives me hope is the thing
That I’m going to speak with you when I’m home
Suddenly I hear someone say that it’s almost time
I smile, put down my pen,
Everything goes in my bag pack and I’m gone
