Description
An Israeli electrical appliance shop has staged an unusual promotion: buy a TV or another appliance and get a sheep as a prize.
Slaughtering sheep is an important part of the forthcoming Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, the feast of the sacrifice.
The prize deal was aimed at Israel's minority Arabs.
After only a few hours of the promotion, the city's chief veterinary surgeon appeared and shut it down.
