B24 Liberator: They Come Back

The B24 Liberator is the “Third bomber” used by USAAF during WWII. Less famous than B17 and B29, it was the workhorse of the American strategic bomber force.
Built in over 18.000 units, it served with USAAF, US Navy, RAF, RAAF and other minor air forces.
The last user was the Indian Air Force, which operated reclaimed planes till 1968.
