Once in a life, to all it will come,
A chance to be nice, to someone you see,
An opportunity to help, to others in need,
Before it’s too late, before you succumb.

It doesn’t take money, or gifts you may think,
Just a friendly smile, or “can I help you, please”,
A small friendly gesture, is all that’s required,
To change someone’s day, in one small blink,

You may find your day, may also improve,
The feeling within you, the smile on your face,
To know you have given to someone else,
A wonderful feeling, yourself will approve.
