AWIR AWASI

EN - Awır Awa (heavy dance) is a dance of (Crimean) Tatar women from Dobruja. It's a slow rhythmic dance, with highlighted movements. The hands of the dancers imitate outstretched wings in flight. The song name is Anadan Öksĭz (motherless). This traditional Tatar dance is also known as Beș Parmaq (five fingers). The variant for men's of this dance is called Aqay Awası (men's dance). It's most representative dance of the Tatars from Dobruja.
RO - Awır Awa (dans greoi) este un dans al femeilor tătare din Dobrogea. Este un dans ritmic lent, cu mișcări evidențiate. Mâinile dansatorilor imită
aripile întinse în zbor. Numele cântecului este Anadan Öksĭz (orfan de mamă). Acest dans tradițional tătar este cunoscut și sub numele de Beș Parmaq (cinci degete). Varianta pentru bărbați a acestui dans se numește Aqay Awası (dans bărbătesc). Este cel mai reprezentativ dans al tătarilor din Dobrogea.
