Autumn Winds - Waves

I sit and watch
While my ocean storms and rages
Tumultuous and unending
The grey sky clashes with the world
While the rains fall again
Immortal is the strife that continues
A circle that does not begin nor end
And between the turmoil
Lays the calm thats rarely seen
The placid-ness that lasts forever
But even that is not long enough
It's hard to think in the midst of destruction
Hard to think that fire brings growth
And that the downs distinguish the ups
The lightning flashes in dark
Eventually the moon looks down
And in the darkness the waves lie still;
And all too soon they begin again
