Austrian Security Forces Hold Training Exercise to Prepare for 'Illegal Mass Migration'

The Austrian military and police held training exercises on June 26 in preparation for dealing with what was termed “illegal mass migration.”

In a statement</a>, Austrian Defense Minister Mario Kunasek said the training in Spielfeld, which is located on the country’s border with Slovenia, was aimed at preparing against illegal mass migration.

Kunasek said the scenes at the border in 2015 would not be repeated, referring to the thousands of migrants</a> who arrived at the border in an attempt to reach other European countries during the migrant crisis.
