On the occasion of the Sport Festival, the brand of the four rings confirms its commitment to the world of sports competitions by celebrating the start of the competitive season together with the Italian Winter Sports Federation and the commitment to one of the most difficult motoring challenges in the world: the Rally Dakar.

The sportiness, which the Audi Brand expresses in the world of Motorsport through avant-garde technologies to be transferred to the road, now translates into the official participation in the Dakar as the first manufacturer in the world to participate in the rally raid with an alternative powertrain.

The new challenge is witnessed in Trento by the presence of Stephane Peterhansel, 14-time winner of the Dakar, who for the first time meets the public in the new role of Audi driver.

'Mr Dakar' will be part of the Audi crews that will participate in the next rally raid with the innovative electric Audi RS Q e-tron prototype presented as a preview for Italy.
