Audi Concept C Exterior Design

The Audi Concept C, which the public can experience at the IAA in Munich, is a first manifestation of this new design philosophy. The concept vehicle offers a glimpse into the design language of future products as well as a new interior experience and embodies universal design principles: a reduction to the essentials – without superfluous lines or elements – and a commitment to geometric clarity. A defining element is the so-called vertical frame, inspired by the iconic Auto Union Type C racing car. The vertical orientation of the vehicle's design focuses the viewer's gaze. This reduction to the essentials is also reflected in the interior. It frees the viewer from distractions and, with intelligent technologies, delivers the right information at the right time.
