Description

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a condition that is slowly being more understood over the past few years. TBI can occur when one is exposed to a head injury by falling or a serious explosion. The brain moves around in the skulll and is shaken and results in damaged brain tissue. Severe TBI results in limitations that affect the functioning of the brain and can affect organization skills, decision making and memory. Severe TBI can also be accompanied by post-event headaches or a general feeling that you aren't functioning right.
