Attempt to kill Olmert foiled

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Knesset members and an Israeli archeologist were on the target list of a staff worker for Doctors Without Borders who on behalf of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, planned to assasinate them.On Thursday, the Shin Bet revealed the recent arrest of Matsab Bashir, a 23 year old from Dir Al Ballah in the Gaza Strip, who was able to access Israel with ease due to the permit he received as an aid worker for Doctors Without Borders.Sources in the Shin Bet told Infolive.tv that plans to assasinate Olmert never went further then the initial planning stages.Bashir told investigators that the decision to murder an Israeli was to avenge the deaths of Palestinians killed by
