Atom Bomb dropped on Japan animation

Only one country has ever used a nuclear weapon on a civilian population in an act of war, in fact only one nation has ever used a nuclear weapon in wartime at all. It was never denied the idea was to TERRORIZE the Japanese people into surrendering, it was in fact an act of terrorism.. In 1945, the United States dropped 2 atomic bombs, both with the approximate equivalent explosive force of 20 thousand tons of TNT, or 40,000,000 pounds. One bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, the other on Nagasaki days later. The moral aspects of killing hundreds of thousands of civilian non-combatant men women and children aside, the results were horrifying. In a split second over 50,000 human beings simply vaporized instantaneously, ceasing to exist. Another 150,000 in both cities died as a direct result of the explosion within seconds, and many thousands died of their injuries in the days and weeks after. No one knows for sure how many died as a result of the effects of radiation and fallout in the years after the attack.
