'Oh! ', cried the bowlers when they saw the Hitter
'Alas! we are doomed', they cried when he hit a sixer.
The Hitter wreaks havoc in the ground
the bowlers run in fear round-n-round.
The Tate of the team bowls his last ball
And the ball is missing once and for all.
The third umpire said, 'If it's the Hitter,
it has to be a sixer.'
And the Hitter's team has won
and the hosts wait for another one.
And in the gallery the others ask,
'How did you manage to do the task? '
The Hitter replies, 'It was nothing,
it was absolutely nothing.
The ball got stuck in my helmet
and I was unable to take it from my headset.'
