Astara Team Dakar 2023

Astara, a leading mobility services company, has presented today at its corporate headquarters in Madrid its plans for the next Dakar Rally, which will be held in Saudi Arabia in January 2023. With a line-up of luxury pilots, the ASTARA TEAM of this The new edition will be led by Laia Sanz-Maurizio Gerini, Carlos Checa-Marc Solà and Óscar Fuertes-Diego Vallejo. All of them will drive the ASTARA 01 Concept, which has further improved its performance in order to complete the Dakar with the lowest possible carbon footprint, once again aspiring to become the most sustainable vehicle and team in the race. Together with them, eight support vehicles and a team of more than 30 people will work together to demonstrate that technological excellence and competition at the highest level are absolutely compatible with respect for the environment and diversity.

It is the second year of a very ambitious project, several years ahead, to put into practice the values ​​of astara within the most demanding competition in the world. The objective of astara is to make people go further (Enable People to Go Further), providing the most efficient and intelligent technology and solutions -such as e-fuel- to offer the most environmentally friendly mobility in all environments.
