Askam AMD Treatment System Flyover

This is a drone flyover of the Askam AMD Treatment System. The system treats several thousand gallons per minute of abandoned mine drainage flowing from the Truesdale Shaft and several interconnected underground coal mines. The system is owned and operated by the Earth Conservancy. It removes iron from the water and raises the pH of the water with a complex system of aerators. No chemicals are added.
