Ashlie Olsen - Americans

Some people think I'm weird
But I just think that I'm myself
And everyone's unique including me.
I may be weird to you
And your probably just as weird to me
But in life that just makes us human.

To have the choice of who we are
And what we become.
The rights to be free
And speak our minds.
The choice is on our shoulders
But no one can make that choice for you
And no one can take it from you,
If you don't let them.
You have the power to become the strongest man
Or woman

Not necessarily by strength
But by mind and by heart.
You are given the power
To be the wisest of all.

But shall you take it,
Hold it,
And use it for good
Or throw it back in her face
Because you choose to use it against her.

We may be given this power
But its not cheap.
If you loose it
Or misuse it

You can never get it back.
We must rise up against all forces
Trying to take it from us
And stand as one
And only one to defend her.

This is why we are Strong.
This is why we are Brave.
This is why we are Americans.
You have been given
The power now what will you do with it.
