The sun has set.
It's time for sleep,
Yet none I'll get.
Sleep evades me,
My mind runs.
Thoughts are spinning,
It's just begun.
A sleepless night,
Of tossing and turning.
Can't get comfy,
The lights still burning.
Wide awake,
Can't close my eyes.
Tomorrow's coming,
Big surprise...
Wait! What's this?
I'm getting tired.
My eyes are closing,
My mind retired.
It's coming fast,
I give no fight.
I'm sinking now,
So I'll say goodnight!
