Ashley Palladino - cold

as cold as death my eyes must be,
for no one knows just who i am.
as cold as death my heart must be,
for not one will venture in.

nobody will dry my tears
nor heal my broken heart,
which aches through out the years.

no one knows the pain-
it pounds apon my soul-
like drums playing the same beat-
which sure is getting old.

i wonder if love exists,
that i may someday find again.
the day her heart stopped beating
is the day the pain entered in.
