To you I am apologizing for the sins I have made, for the mistakes that I did make, and the regret that i stayed.
I'm sorry for lieing, while looking in your eyes.
Watching you get hurt, by my selfishness lies.
To you I am sorry for cheating my way out.
To you I am sorry for being the one to always make you pout.
I'm sorry that I stayed with him despite your wishes.
I guess I couldn't resist the candy, nor the temptation of his kisses.
I took the wrong path, that i know.
I cannot take those things back, I stooped lower than low.
I can only imagine the judgements that they say.
I have come along way from whiskey and cocaine.
I am trying to make a change ma,
I really do not want to end up like pa.
As I am telling you this, i am flying high.
Please don't abandon me, dont say goodbye,
I beg you for forgiveness, as I am pleading on one knee.
I am trying to be substance free.
But will you still help me?
What is black to you is white to me,
What sins i am making, I cannot see.
There are angels in your world,
Satin in mine.
You see the halo's as they brightly shine.
I see fire, burning up in flames.
As we do our drugs, drink our booze, forget eachothers names.
Maybe I am not better,
am I crazy?
Mom are you still there?
Everything is going hazy.
Please hold my hand, tell me I did not fail you, that you understand.
I can slowly see a light mom, i think god has forgiven me.
Maybe this is my chance to be.
Someone better, someone to make you proud.
Why can't I see you anymore, why is my body not found?
As I lie on this floor dead and blue.
