Ashley Fortin - Vampires

Ivory skin falters thoughts,
Perfect sculpture like faces and bodies daze,
Deep blazing eyes of red and gold mesmerize,
Brown, gold, red, white, and black hair sends shivers down my spine.

Their physical being is only to unreal to endure,
But not all is hidden in their looks alone,
For more of theirs secrets seem to linger within their thoughts.

No matter how menacing or destructive and blood thirsty they seem to be,
I cannot but seem to drift into their friendships of the foolish.
Seemingly impossible to escape,
But not wanting to keeps me from falling into the suicidal strings of humanity.

Yet from even the strangest of knowledgeable advantages,
Is still see my point of reference,
Even if the thought is of but a glimpse of intelligence within the unintelligible;
Ignorance is bliss.
