ashley dickerson - a bright red scream

i can`t explain it but i`ll try
why i bleed instead of cry
why crimson tears escape my skin
why i feel i`m releasing my demons within
why i've fallen so far
that pain is my only way
to escape from the hurt
that comes with the day
why i feel i must see the pain in my head
to see i`m alive when i feel so dead
it`s an addiction these bright red screams
to stop myself from ripping
at my porcelain seams
i hide my secret scars under my fading smile
will it stay forever or go away in a while?
