Ashleigh Gaffney - Angel

Someone asked me if I had an angel
And I told them “yes I do”
They asked me who my angel was
And I told them it was you

They told me they didn’t have one
And I simply replied
“Sure you have one, everyone does.”
But I think I may have lied

Because I didn’t know my angel
Until about a year ago
And she means so much to me
But I don’t think she really knows

She has really helped me
Through a lot of stuff
And made me want to hang on
When I felt like giving up

I could never thank her enough
Because really, you have no clue
I couldn’t live without her
I just wouldn’t know what to do

I hope you remember this
I love you with all my heart
And I could say so much more
But I wouldn’t know where to start
