Spiritual leader Asaram Bapu has drawn flak from Maharashtra assembly and activists for allegedly wasting water in pre-Holi celebrations at a time when the state is facing worst-ever drought in over four decades. Asaram Bapu, who organised pre-Holi celebrations in Nagpur on Sunday (March 17), celebrated Holi, wasting lots of water. Opposition members in Maharashtra Legislature have criticized the wastage of water and sought action against those involved in the misuse of water.
