Asa Smith - Fallen King

Place his head upon the stone.
Bless his body, mind, and throne.

May his death be not in vain.
And everlong his kingdom reign.

As his people gather around.
Tear drops fall, they shake the ground.

They send him off for one last quest.
In the land of his fore fathers,
for one last rest.

But from the ashes of sorrow, grow.
A new king they soon shall show.

Behold! The son of the fallen one.

Now with heavy heart and shining crown.
Evermore his heart will frown.

And now a vow from this day.
His father's memory won't fade away.

He'll lead them on to what fate may bring.
May he never be a fallen King.
