Out of the corner of my eye, I saw you pass by
My heart skipped a beat, I felt my mouth go dry
I turned in time to see you smile
Making me think that risking my heart again would be worth while
But then I saw you look at her
My eyes welled up and everything became a blur
I held back the tears that threatened to fall
Your smile was not meant for me after all
