I really wonder what love is
I wonder if anyone knows
I wonder where it came from
I wonder where it goes

Everyone gives a different meaning
Only a few think alike
With a million specified implications
I wonder which is right

Some say it is a feeling
Felt for a being or a thing
Some say it’s an attachment
With someone like a friend

For some it is a gift
Given and received
And for some it’s something
One should not believe

I won’t really believe
Any of these things
Even though they say
It’s what heaven brings

Coz I think love is something
One could not portray
Just to any person
In such a simple way

I believe love will only be
And it could only be
Understood by two who share
A bizarre feeling of devotion and care
