Arunesh Goswami - Deep Within

These words can never express my heart
Yet I urge- to pen my emotions invain
Alike the kingdom of the glorious earth
Mystifies my small mind again and again.
I see the sun and feel the wind blowing
I behold the beautiful clouds floating in the sky
And I think of my birth when I felt your breath on my skin
Remembering those golden days I cry.
For something deep within I want to say
And I’ve forgotten those words unspoken
When with you I was resting on that day
When the breeze blew mild in Lavian.
When the thunder roared, it was about to rain
The music of the whispering leaves; you were sleeping
I was gazing at you and want to utter your name
When I woke up here in a dream.
I look for you everywhere and all the time
In the stars and the moon, in the ocean invain
Your love guides me on, I know you are mine
And I hear deep within you calling my name.
You were beside me when the days were dark
And gave me whatever I’ve today and more
My love for you grows with each vesper that embarks
And promise of our mélange this shore.
