Arun Jaitley: Cabinet Approves PM Irrigation Scheme & Skill Development Plan

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today announced that the Cabinet has approved the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana on July 1st. This new scheme is aimed at ensuring irrigation facilities are extended to every field nationwide. Jaitley adds that the government is going to spend Rs 50,000 crores on the PM irrigation plan in the coming 5 years.
