Art builds a sense of place, tells the story of the development and unites residents. Public art is a key feature of The Glades at Byford, from the windmill sculpture that moves gently in the breeze in the small park adjacent to Warrington Road to the three leaf entry statement at the intersection of Doley and Abernethy Roads.

Both sculptures represent an aspect of the heritage of the area, and in keeping with that theme, developers LWP Property Group are developing a plan to include community-created public art in the landscaping around the new lake in the village centre.
