Ahn Kyu-chul: Drawn to the Rainbow
Using a combination of ingenious and interactive works, Ahn Kyu-chul engages the viewer to seek meaning in life from two contrasting perspectives. First, Ahn presents individual elements becoming a single entity through works such as "The Horizon in Mind" in which viewers are invited to add a line with a colored pencil to his white wall. Second, he exemplifies the opposite effect by having a pianist perform Chopin's "Nocturne No. 20" live as a piano key is removed every day.
