Arthur Presley - BROKEN GLASS

Broken glass, on the wet green grass
Near a park bench
Ants scurrying around in the summer sun
A dog sniffs at an empty bag
A child plays in the sand
A butterfly lands on a leaf
A kite falls down to the ground
The wind sings of springtime past
Shades of pink are toned down by the dying petals
Of a rose that floats in a puddle.
