Art Talk - Shashank Subramanyam (Flute Player)

Flute wizard, Shashank Subramanyam, talks of - and shows - special techniques like multi-flute transposed fingering, dual octave production and claw fingering on the flute! Shashank was a child prodigy. It is said that he could recognize 72 (parent) ragas at the age of 3. He now performs in the top music festivals and concert halls of India and around the world. Shashank is on the show Art Talk with Jujhar Singh (NewsX channel). He is accompanied during the demonstrations on the show by Parupalli Phalgun on the Mridangam.
