He gets up every
morning with out compliant
day after day
up before the sun doesn't come home
till the work day is done
a proud man is what he
is
aches and pains
and callused hands ain't what
makes him a man
it's his gentle hand that makes
him the man

a family man
protect and provide is what he
does out of love
his reward

a little smile and a hug
from his child
it makes all those
long day's worthwhile

up with a smile
be home in awhile
we love you
dad
