ARSHAJ GAIKWAD - ALONE AGAIN...!

It’s not a story of everyday,
When things were all my way.
As happy as I was,
With laughter all the way.
Seeing chirping birds,
Brought smiles to my face.
Though emptiness, my life,
No miseries here stay.

Sitting on the bench at night,
Watching twinkling stars at height,
Such a wonderful day went down,
In a lovely sunset light.
Still a laughter in my eyes,
Idling by the river side,
Alone though, happy I was,
Open were all horizons wide.

And then! Oh then! Many came,
My heart swelled with joy n pride,
Walking with them a joyous ride,
I found myself in a different stride.
I thought, I missed so much till now,
The things I had never tried,
So much to lose, yet much to gain,
Never to be alone again.

And then so fast, stars switched sides,
Found myself alone by the riverside,
So hard to let go, so hard I’ve cried,
Searching for a place to hide.
And then I say to those who arrive,
Never befriend before you’ve tried,
Love in times when the rains are felling sweet,
And will leave you in a SCORCHING HEAT…!
