Arroyo Humaina

También localizado en el Parque Natural Montes de Málaga, el Humaina es un arroyo que permanece seco la mayor parte del año a excepción de periodos de intensas lluvias. Es un tributario del más largo y ancho río Guadalmedina que pasa por Málaga, aunque para estándares del norte, más bien sería considerado otro arroyo.
Esta ruta no es para nada un paseo de recreo a pesar de su corta distancia. Empieza bajando por un cortafuegos y, una vez en el arroyo, la densa vegetación complica mucho el avance, así que hay que buscar constantemente cruzar el arroyo buscando siempre la parte más despejada. Luego se deja el arroyo subiendo por una empinada ladera llena de espinos de vuelta al carril terrizo sin un sendero claro.

Also located in the Montes de Málaga Natural Park, the Humaina is another creek that remains dry most of the year except for periods of intense rains. It's a tributary of the longer and wider Guadalmedina river that runs through the city of Malaga, although according to "northern standards", this river would rather be considered a creek. This route is no easy recreational walk despite its short distance. It starts going down a very steep firebreak passing and once in the creek, the thick vegetation around the creek makes it very hard to go forward, so you have to cross the creek back and forth always looking for a clearer way through. Then you leave the creek and start going up the slope back to the dirt road without a distinctive path and full of thorny plants.
