Turn it to stone when you chip off the wrong increment

The cloth for rubbing the heart's high polished gold
Beauty like that never for a chisel to be sold

Of all the powers men and women have mastered today
Friendship and sex for as tools have made a new way

And to the end of survival they hammer and chisel the cost
The beauty of these powers will always be lost

Hate as hard as what you love if your heart was wasted
Sooner or later that order the meal manipulators tasted
