Still awake
Still tired
Only wanting...
The same as anyone...
Dreams
Exhausted
And wanting
To come back home
But...
These strings
These tethers...
So spent
not yet sleepy
It hurts
Knowing that is...
The next day's pursuits
Do not carry the key
To the heart
Put on some speed
For need
For want
Of her
To put on some speed
Because...
These hooded coverings
And this head full of
Dreadlocked heaven
Thinking of someone
Dark like clove cigarettes
Soft like a feather bed
Used over and over again
Does not warm the soul
No
Not like that
Not like what then?
If guitars could cure
Than this man...
Would be great!
Instead...
Think of flying
Think of faith
And sex
And god...
Praise be to song
Because...
Crying does'nt help
Your tears...
Are just as alone
As the outside
Queens play Kings
Jacks watch their Ace
All the while
The rain bands up
With an endless begining
Tired of dreaming
About home again
For...
Home is not a place
It is a longing
Good for one
Who is satisfied
One who is handsome
One...
Who holds the key(?)
But...
We already waxed that

Then watch

Slowly break thinking
Insomnia
Writers block
What could be worse?
Being scared?
Maybe dieing
And flames...
Maybe not...
