Aria Siren - Saccharine
2 Views • Jun 17, 2014
Description
You'd taste like black cherry bubbles
Swished behind peanut butter lips
Sunscreen palms
Sugared with syrupy drips
You're delicious
But only for the first few sips
Close your eyes
Here comes the eclipse
And my mouth reeks
With unease
The pollen you leave
Poisons my bees
And your sunrise kingdom
Just isn't for me
Your porcelin veneers
Come with a fee
You ask me to peel off my skin
Because it covers parts you can't see
You want to crawl around in my darkness
And discuss it over biscuts and tea
And the truth is I'm stranded
Swimming in my sanguine sea
Casting eyes high, at the stormy sky
Waiting for someone to see
Me
but not you
