Arepa Cafe

Arepa Cafe is the marquis for Venezuelan urbanity on Queen West, serving up traditionally handcrafted arepas. Arepas are traditional Venezuelan sandwiches made from gluten-free corn meal. These delectable little beauties are made fresh, in-house everyday, come hot off the grill and are packed to the brim with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.

Now in its third year of operation, Arepa Cafe has become a staple in the neighbourhood, providing an inviting environment to share a freshly made mojito, local beer, or specialty coffee alongside delicious food. The service is friendly and honest, and takeout is fast and easy.

Try their signature Reina Pepiada (Curvy Queen), stuffed with roasted chicken, avocado, red onion and coriander... and don't forget the hot sauce!
