Interviewer: You knew that Sofia Goggia was in the lead. So you risked everything in the race?
Lindsey: I had a good run and I had a little mistake before the second to last jump. But I’m satisfied with my accomplishment. It was a lot of pressure but I skied well. For that I’m thankful and happy.
Interviewer: Then you hoped that someone is skiing between you and Sofia?
Lindsey: Yeah sure 3 Points is difficult but not as difficult as when I lost the Overall Globe with 3 points. But I’m old and I don’t know how many chances I’ll have. That’s why it hurts and Sofia for sure has many more years. But I lost and I also won so I’m happy.
Interviewer: You can be happy because you already have 20 Globes and only 4 more Wins to the record of Stenmark.
Lindsey: It gets closer and closer. At the moment I have a good feeling in the Downhill. I’ll keep fighting to break this record.
