Aram Stefanian - Starry ladder

I was flying across dizzying snow-covered heights
Wondering how come I turned into a tiny bodiless entity
Beyond a range of mountains I beheld the northern lights
Trying my best to land, I failed for the lack of gravity
Never before was I frightened of such utter solitude
That was my planet not, I felt deserted and sick at heart
When I faced a distant star, I was blinded by its magnitude
And heard a clear gentle voice, ''I cannot let you fall apart
No longer earthbound, you're on the starpath to the neosphere
Where the present, the past, and the future stick together
To extract any data, first off you have to get rid of fear''
The voice faded, and I started to mount a long starry ladder
