Aram Stefanian - Spacebound

It appeared out of nowhere while Jake was walking his dog
The frightened puddel slipped a leash and hid behind a car
A big radiant pentacle hung 5 feet above Jake who stood in a fog
A beautiful face was clearly seen in the center of the star
It seemed painfully familiar to Jake, and stirred up haunting memories
And then Jake heard the stranger speak a weird cherubic language
Amazed at what he heard, Jake fell into a trance, achieving his reveries
To resume his dormant ability to fly, he had to part with corporal baggage
''The stars are waiting for a new rightful heir, and it's gonna be you
To rule over moons and planets, imposing a peace on warring nations''
The last thing Jake saw was the earth from a bird's eye view
No longer imprisoned by the gravitational pull, he flew up to meet new creations
