Aram Stefanian - OVER THE HILL

Last night I had a conversation with a fool
Who said the earth wasn't round and there was no god
I failed to prove the opposite and blew my cool
Saying our soul is eternal and immortal

He asked why everything and everybody died?
This dog-eat-dog world trained him well for the battle
As a kid he was abused by his own dad
Both cheated by his wife and deceived by all friends

The only thing he still enjoyed was a good drink and meal
Now I guess, I'm fooling myself but I'll be waiting
As long as the pain in my heart mends
And then I am not going to feel over the hill
