Apuna Rato - Dear Unknown

This morning I visited Kohima Orphanage
And Destitute Home.
Talking about founder Ama and children,
I saw loving tears in new Ama's eyes.
She truly loves the children.
I even met the youngest of all. She is one year old.
I had been to their Sunday fellowship.
A young Angami gentleman is their Pastor,
He visits every Sunday, I was told.
Children are doing well under their guidance.

But dear Unknown,
Where are you when they needed your loving arms?
Where is care and love when your child needs yours?
They needed your breast-milk to grow strong,
Your manly presence to shelter from harm.
Do you know how much they've suffered?
Have you ever wanted to listen to their stories?

Why did you give up, dear unknown?
How could you be so cruel?
Was that the best you could think of
For the one who has your flesh and blood?
Ama Zaputou was so worried about them.
Did you ever felt the same feeling she felt?
How could you be so heartless?
How could you do such a thing to your child?
