At the same time, Aprilia was a protagonist in the racing world, dominating in the 2T categories and, after reaffirming its technological leadership by winning in SBK competitions, it also became a protagonist in MotoGP.
Now Aprilia returns to the mission with which it was born, with a project dedicated to the new generations of motorcyclists, which brings together the knowledge built on tracks all over the world.

Starting from 2020, the great success of the Aprilia RS 660 (the best-selling sports car in Europe) has revolutionized the world of medium-displacement sports cars, creating a new segment.
The same winning formula is repeated with the Aprilia RS 457 which was born as a completely new project, designed and developed where all Aprilias are born, including those involved in MotoGP. The new Aprilia becomes the ideal link between the first 125 engines and the RS 660, and completes the RS family which reaches up to the powerful V4 superbikes and, in its maximum technological expression, the RS-GP, winner of GP in the MotoGP.

The Aprilia RS 457 speaks the language of younger riders, of those who want to get closer to faired motorcycles, taking advantage of all Aprilia's knowledge in the design and construction of a true sports bike.
A motorbike that has its strengths in its lightness, boasting the best possible weight-to-power ratio for a motorbike that can be driven with an A2 licence, in its ease of driving and in its technological equipment. RS 457 is designed to accompany the motorcyclist in his growth, both on the road and between the curbs of the track. The ergonomics are in fact characterized by the semi-handlebars mounted above the steering plate, a road sports solution to have the best compromise between sportiness and driving comfort.
